This Before the Rains
Carefree days of winter play and glistening diamond snowfall gaze.
Prairie skies share radiant starry-speckled lights with fuchsia enhancing thunderous nights!
Twilight drapes a woven bliss upon the sleepy city streets.
My home, my heart, the place I miss,
And childhood ever sweet!
