Submit Your Story

We accept guest posts from authors from various fields. Your post must have unique content and add value to our website. Please make sure you read the guidelines and fine print before submitting your stories.

The story or poem belongs to the writer. We did not buy the piece, so it belongs to the writer. We just want to be the FIRST to publish a story, but you are free to publish these stories elsewhere once they have appeared on Story Quilt.

Photos/Images

You are welcome to send photos/images that you would like to see published with your story to our email address:

. Make sure you mention whether you made it yourself, or if you found it online somewhere. If online – where? Want to make sure we are not running into any copyright issues…

Media Files

Due to security reasons we are not allowing you to upload any audio/video media files. You can use free hosting services like YouTube, SoundCloud, Archive.org, ImageShack etc. and provide a link to it at the bottom of your post.

Bio

You can also provide a short, 2 sentence bio to the post. If you use an email address below that has been connected to a Gravatar, we can show your Gravatar (photo, image) as part of your bio. More about Gravatar.

All posts submitted here will be held for moderation and if published, author will be notified via email.

Make sure to choose the RIGHT category. Once it has been reviewed by an editor of one category we will not resubmit the same article into a different category.
