Saskatchewan Spring

Today I felt the warm winds blow.

I lifted my face and gloried in the sun.

I longed for the bursting buds of green.

I needed to hear the freshlets run.

The sun beat down.

The days got warm.

The snow banks shrunk in the lane.

The mud grew deep.

The dirt tracked in.

The mess increased by driving rain.

Spring has come again.
