Naked Scared and Raw

I heard you smile last night when we talked on the phone
I heard your smile
And I didn’t feel alone

I saw your face as you chuckled at my words
I saw your face
And the chuckle, I heard

I felt you understood when I tried to hide from you
I felt you understood
And you knew just what to do

Now here I sit alone when my heart’s about to thaw
Now here I sit alone
Feeling naked, scared and raw
