Born and raised in London, England, Isobel came to Canada in 1973.
The first 14 years were spent in rural Saskatchewan, as the wife of a family physician and raising two sons.
During those years, she developed her love of painting and ceramics.
In 1987 she moved to Ottawa with her family and began her long career as a hospital social worker.
This has come to an end and she is now working on memoir writing to share with her family and friends.
