“Oh, I will,” Harry said, grinning. “I love to get her and Miss Pinkerton talking.”
Harry and Joe could hear Isaac laughing as they walked away.
“Still going to the cave?” Joe asked as they got into the truck.
“Maybe another time. I think I’ll go see what Bertie has found first. I’ll drop you off on the way.”
“You’ll talk to Glory?”
“I certainly will, probably tomorrow. I’ll be in touch again soon.”

Bertie was still at her desk when Harry returned to the office. “Did you find anything?”
“Quite a bit, actually. I’ve put together a timeline of the entire history of the lighthouse and all four lightkeepers who served there.”
“You’ve been busy. I hope you took time out for lunch.”
She nodded. “I brought lunch with me. Anyway, I’ve made a copy of everything I learned, in chronological order, and just finished printing it so you can read it tonight.”
He took the folder she held out.
“So, did you learn anything?” she asked.
“Some interesting things.” Then he told her about their conversation with Isaac. “Going by what he said, there doesn’t seem to be anyone else using the cave. But, I’ll leave that for another time and concentrate on this restless spirit thing first.”
“Did you learn anything on that?”
“As we were leaving, Isaac said that there’s more to the story and his Aunt Glory knows it all.”
“You mean Miss Pinkerton’s housekeeper? That Glory?”
Harry nodded. “I’ll call her in the morning, find out if she’s willing to tell us what she knows, and set up a time.”
“Do you think she’d mind if I came along? I could use the information for the history of the lighthouse.”
“I don’t see why she would, but I’ll ask when I call her.”

The following morning Harry called Miss Pinkerton’s housekeeper and set up a meeting to discuss the restless spirit story. “Isaac said there’s more to it and he thought you might know the whole story.”
“He’s right,” she said. “I do know and I think it’s high time the story was set straight.”
“Great! When is a good time for you?”
Glory laughed. “I know Miss Pinkerton enjoys your visits and we’ll both be out all afternoon. Can you make it for ten?”
Harry looked at his watch – nine-thirty. “No problem. Would it be okay if Ms Blackett joined us too?”
“By all means. We’ll see you then.”
Harry ended the call and noticed that Bertie was looking at him with a rather pleased expression on her face. “What are you looking so smug about?”
“I’m hoping she’ll agree to let me to record the story so I don’t miss anything.”
“Good idea. Let’s go.”
